Woodlands Family Medicine is a prevention-focused practice. We follow the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendations and other evidence-based guidelines, and we will recommend age- and risk-appropriate screenings at your visits, such as mammograms, colorectal cancer screening, and vaccinations.
We ask our patients to be active partners in their care. We expect our patients to:
- Complete recommended preventive screenings and vaccinations
- Provide records of screenings done elsewhere so your chart is complete
- Keep scheduled follow-up appointments
